Pacific Resort Hotel Group (PRHG) is in celebration mode once again after all three of it’s Cook Islands properties were honoured at the 21st annual World Travel Awards, capturing six major awards on a special night for the hotel management company. This year’s Australasia Gala Ceremony was held at The Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi, India and it certainly lived up to it’s reputation as the “Travel Industry’s equivalent to the Oscars”.
Pacific Resort Aitutaki, Te Manava Luxury Villas & Spa and Pacific Resort Rarotonga have all been selected as HM Awards for Hotel & Accommodation Excellence 2014 finalists in the ‘South Pacific Property of the Year’ category, while PRHG’s Deputy CEO Marcus Niszow is a finalist in the ‘South Pacific General Manager of the Year’ for the 2nd year in a row.

Cook Islands top Vaka Paddler Reuben Dearlove trained hard every day determined to better his performance in last years Te Aito Cook Islands event. He was successful and for the 3rd time in as many years of the event, Reuben beat all challengers and once again claimed the title of Te Aito Tane 2012.
